Tropical Paradise

Phuket is a beautiful island off the west coast of Southern Thailand. It lies 7 degrees north of the equator, surrounded by the Andaman Sea. With an area of over 500 Sq. Km, almost half the island is still forested with lush and unspoiled jungle!

Phuket has a tropical climate with two seasons. The rainy season runs from April to November and the dry season lasts from December to March. The average daytime temperature is consistently within that perfect range of 30 to 35 degrees Celsius.

The Isle of Smiles

The local Thai people are renowned for their warmth and friendliness, the majority of the population being devoted Buddhists. The wonderful architecture of temples and shrines forms a fascinating backdrop that adds grace to the urban environment.

Handicrafts such as ornate basket-weaving, silver jewellery making and silk embroidery are practised throughout Phuket, making a shopping expedition to any local market a must. Thai cuisine of course, is exquisitely spiced and simply delicious.
