Pimex 2005 Dates Announced
PIMEX 2005 will be held once gain
at the Phuket Boat Lagoon marina, this year from 8th to 11th
December 2005.
Following the great success of PIMEX 2004 the layout will be
similar with space for 85 booths in the air-conditioned main
hall, 3000 sq metres of outside display area and 30 in water
berths. As an addition to display options a limited number of
private VIP pavilions will be made available.
We have already received enquiries and reservations; exhibitors
from PIMEX 2004 will be given first choice to reserve their space,
but from April 14 th the space will be opened up to all comers.
The opening day of the show will coincide with the rest day
of the annual Phuket Kings Cup Regatta which will ensure a bumper
attendance for the third year running.
The emphasis once again will be on creating a lifestyle exhibition
centred around the marine leisure industry with a carefully chosen
selection of properties and residences in and around Phuket.
In 2004, 4000 quality visitors with the right depth of pockets
led the exhibitors to report record sales and orders after the
show.
By the time of the show, Phuket's third marina will be open
for business and two others will be breaking ground - so the
opportunities are there for boat sales, marina hardware, and
marine services to join in the boom that has continued unabated
in spite the Tsunami at the end of last year.
The damage to marine infrastructure in Phuket was thankfully
very slight and all operations were up and running again within
days. The island's tourist industry is very focused on giving
good value and service to bring the number of visitors quickly
back up to pre Tsunami figures.
If you have the products, don't miss out on Asia's fastest growing
marine playground and the Boating and Lifestyle show to go with
it.
